Bob Dylan
"Highway 61 Revisited"

Released: 1965
It's either this album or "Blonde On Blonde", which was Dylan's subsequent album... This is where he goes all-electric for the first time. It's a druggy kind of album with weird, ambiguous lyrics. The angry young man has probably never been angrier than in "Like A Rolling Stone", which might be a bit worn out today. But it's a terrific song if you really listen to it. There's also the very strange "Ballad Of A Thin Man" and the glorious "Desolation Row", arguably one of Dylan's true masterpieces.
If you dig this one you should also get "Blonde On Blonde" and "Bringing It All Back Home".
